For nearly a decade, DPWPR has served as agency of record for MetroNational, the Houston-based, privately held real estate, development and management company. As corporate communications counsel, the firm has provided public relations to effectively position MetroNational and generate awareness of Memorial City, a 265-acre mixed-use development in west Houston.
When New York-based developer Arel Capital purchased the historic 1960’s landmark building formerly known as The River Oaks Apartments, they selected DPWPR to raise the profile of the historic property’s transformation into luxury condominiums. From the project announcement to the grand opening, DPWPR coordinated a strategic public relations campaign, executed key prospect events and formulated a retail partnership with Neiman Marcus.
For nearly 20 years, while owned and developed by George Mitchell and Mitchell Energy and Development, DPWPR served as public relations counsel for The Woodlands Corporation, positioning The Woodlands, a 25,000-acre master-planned community, as one of the leading developments in America. DPWPR deployed a comprehensive communications strategy for the launch of The Woodlands Waterway, including Waterway Square, a mixed-use pedestrian-friendly urban commercial district.
